Idea netsetter 7.2 mbps  is most demanded usb dongle in my market which is too cheap(Approx 1500/- ),People are unlocking this modem for 50-100 Rs or even more in some cities.But finally i am here sharing a permanent unlock solution for E1732 and other two alternet method to unlock idea netsetter.I have already discussed how to unlock idea netsetter E1732 ? But many people are failed to do so beacause of their small mistakes,So here i am posting one more articles to solve all the query related to unlock of idea netsetter.

Possible ways to unlock idea Netsetter Huawei E1732?

§  Temporary Unlock of idea netsetter E1732 using Sola GSM unlocker.This software will unlock your modem Temporary means every time you have to follow the procedure of unlock when you insert the modem to your pc or laptop.So this is very frustrating task so avoid this method.

§  Easiest method to Unlock idea Huawei E1732 7.2 mbps Modem with DC unlocker.but the DCCrap (Free unlimited credit) of latest version of dc unlocker still not available on the net,So we have to purchase the credits and Unlock the modem which costs you around 4$ (200Rs).

§  Well,We have alternet method which is little bit complicated but its free !! We can Unlock Modem by Downgrading the Firmware easily.

Unlock huawei e1732 idea netsetter permanently

Before starting unlocking you need following two software.So download it first and Extract it.

1.   CDMA Workshop [Download It From This Link]

2.   E1732 Downgrader [Download It From This Link]

3.   Mobile Partner [Download It From This Link]

Unlock Huawei  E1732 (Idea) 7.2 mbps usb 3G modem

Unlocking of Huawei E1732 can be done in 3 portion,Here we have to downgrade the firmware of the modem because the idea 7.2 mbpsmodem comes with customized Firmware.

 Unlock idea Huawei E1732 in 3 Portion !!

-Read NV items using CDMA workshop and Make the backup of NV items.
-Downgrade the Firmware of Modem. [Compulsory disconnect the usb modem after this step ]
-Write NV items to Modem using CDMA workshop.

Hope you have downloaded all require Files from above links.you may need to disable your antivirusotherwise you are not able to open CDMA workshop.

Lets starts the unlocking…

Connect your usb modem,Install the Idea internet dashboard (if you have already done ignore it !!).Now close the idea internet        dashboard.

Follow these steps Carefully to Unlock your modem…

Step:A

§  Right click on you My Computer
>Select Properties
>Select Device Manager
Now device manager window appears,Select Ports(COM & LPT)
Refer following screenshot and select Huawei Mobile Connect – 3G Application interface
and Note down the Post No. (Here COM12)

Step B:

§   Now Run CDMA Workshop.Exe From  CDMA_Workshop[TricksMaza.net].zip and  Click on Main and select the com port number in COM Settings (AT mode) which you have note down in above step. After that click on Connect Select button.Don’t forget to check status !! It must shows ready if you have selected correct com port.

§  Now navigate to Memory tab and click on Read button. Instantly Confirm pop up box appears;Here Click On OK button as shown in below screenshot.

§  After that on more box appears,Here Set Last NV item to 9999

§  After that Save as box appears,Here you have to save Nv Backup file to your desire place with any name in your pc (Be Careful !!  )

§  Now CDMA workshop starts reading and this will take some time approximately two minutes,After that you will see the following message and click on OK.

Now The First portion is completed to unlock this modem,Second portion is to downgrade the firmware of the modem.

Step C:

§  Step1 : Now Run The Huawei E1732 firmware downgrade.exe from Huawei E1732 firmware downgrade[TricksMaza.net].zip , Select I accept the agreement and click on next button.

§  Step2: This wizard will search your modem in your few seconds !! Make sure you have closed mobile partner or Idea internet dashboard,If one of these application is opened then Firmware not able find your modem and shows error. 

 

§  Step 3:  Read and Follow the instruction carefully and Click on Start button.

§   Step 4: Click On Next button.

§  Step 5: Now the Application starts downloading firmware to yourmodem.

§  Step 6: After completing above process,you will get massage like update failure,Don’t worry and click on OK  and Finish !! Now you are done,Second portion of the firmware downgrading is completed. 

This is the last portion of the unlocking here you have to write Nv backup file to modem,which you have stored previously at the starting of the unlockingin the first portion.

§  Step 1: Now Run CDMA workshop again.Confirm the port number again from device manager.

§  And select port no Click on Main and select the com port number in COM Settings (AT mode) which you have note down in above step (Here COM 12 ). After that click on Connect Select button.Refer the following screenshot for better understanding 

§  Now Quickly navigate to Memory tab and click on write button.After that Browse and open the Nv Backup file (Here e1732.txt)

§  As you click on write open button Cdma workshop instantly starts writing this file to your modem.this process will completed in few seconds !!

§  When the process will reach at 100% you can see success message then click on OK and Close the CDMA workshop,It will ask for “To send Reset Command” click on No

§  Disconnect your modem and Insert it again.

§  you are Done !! Now your modem is Unlocked.After Unlocking your Huawei modem,Mobile partner is essential software that you need.Because in unlocked modem default dashboard not gives maximum flexibility.Install Mobile partner and  enjoy Voice and USSD Features 

Notes:

§   Here we have to use Full version of CDMA workshop to Unlock Huawei E1732,So its necessary to use CR@cked version of CDMA workshop.Please disable your antivirus for some time !!

§   No power fluctuation happens while Unlocking,If you are using laptop then its better to connect your laptop charger while this process,Any fluctuation in power may damage a firmware of your card.After that your data card will not work  properly.

§  Don’t Remove data card Unlocking.This mistake  may dead your modem.

Problem and Solution !!

Here is some problem you will face during the unlocking.i have tried to cover most of important steps and problems you will face during the unlockinghere… Check this solution of problem if you will face during unlockingof huawei e1732 idea netsetter.

Solution for Lost IMEI number of idea netsetter (Huawei e1732)

§  Some people lost their IMEI number during the unlocking.In most of cases this happens when the user forget to take the backup of the nv-items before the downgrading firmware.IMEI number lost problem occurs when the user update the downgrading firmware and after that follow theprocedure of CDMA workshop nv-items read and write operation.

§   Don’t worry,Your data card is not dead you can make it as new as whenyou bought it by updating the firmware to the original version.After updating firmware you will get your imei back.After restoring Imei number you can try unlocking Idea netsetter again without making any mistake.

§  Extract it First.Now run the Firmware update.you are done !! 

Following steps are not Applicable For all cases

If the updater ask for a password while firmware updater you can use the huawei code calculator to generate the flash code and use that flash code as password.

§  While Updating firmware you need to  unlock/flash code for yourmodem.For that you need IMEI no of your modem.Which can be found on the box of the modem or on modem where you insert a simcard.Refer following screen shot and Enter your IMEI number and generate unlock and flash code using Universal Master code Calculator.

§  When the firmware updating starts it  ask for “FLASH CODE” which was generated by Universal master code software.Enter your Flash code and click on start 

§  When the Firmware updating completed successfully you ger your lost imei back.

Phone Does not Answer / Unable to read/Unable to open comport – in CDMA workshop

Possible reason For this error..
1) Your modem is not connected properly to your pc.

Solution: Attach the modem again or choose different usb port.

2)This will happens some times when the Mobile partner or idea internetdashboard or application that accessing your idea modem is running or open.So close it first and try again

3)You have selected wrong COM port in step Step B.

Soution: Refer following screenshot and select Huawei Mobile Connect – 3G Application interface and Note down the Post No. (Here COM12)    you have to use this port number in Step B

4)In Most cases COM port selected by your System is higher than 20 (i.e COM41 ,COM30.. etc) its shows error like Phone Does not Answer / Unable to read/Unable to open comport.Here is solution for this problem.. 

-Insert your modem in different usb port and check the COM port status in the Device manger if this doesn’t work try the following method

-As shown in below screenshot click on Huawei modem in device manager and select properties.Now navigate to Advance tab and select advance port setting.After that select COM port below 20 if the COM port is above 20 like COM40,COM41 .. Click on Ok  !! Done..
Now follow the process from starting and note down the port number inStep A and complete the next procedure.
